It may be a meme at this point, but music was definitely my impetus for why I chose to pursue design. Along with that there was always crossover between video games, skateboarding, punk and anime. These aesthetics and ideas inform how I view the world. I’m also am a musician and producer who spent a decade deejaying notable clubs, while collaborating with my peers to host parties and help brand our events throughout Chicago and the midwest. I retired my deejay moniker, Please, to focus more on curation for my record label, Issa Party. However in that decade, I’ve had my productions as Please and my label featured on Rinse FM, Oroko Radio, FACT Magazine, Keep Hush, Reprezent, Bandcamp Daily, dublab, The Lot Radio, and CRACK Magazine. And, I had a solo profile article feature in the Chicago Reader for my musical endeavors.
