Harper Intranet
UI, ProductPalatine, Illinois based institution, Harper College, requested an updated concept of their student intranet system with a more usable and robust experience. The goal of this project was to empower students to check their schedules, sign up for classes, and pay their tuition more efficiently.
PROCESS:
Our discovery process led us to two similar yet distinct solutions: A desktop and mobile intranet dashboard. My role specifically was strictly focused on the mobile component; parsing down features such as sub menus and modal components. Student feedback provided by Harper, made mention of prioritizing class schedules and sign-up for new courses.
OUTCOMES:
Harper was extremely impressed with the visual design of our intranet concepts that me and my team designed. The prioritization of class courses and course sign-up in the UI was recieved postivitely by the client and meeting their students needs.
