Branding, Art Direction


Engage was a proposed alternate learning platform that was being repurposed and acquired from a previous organization by Breakthrough Technologies. The branding needed to feel friendly and inviting, and to promote the benefits of it’s alternate assement approach to learning.







     




PROCESS & PLAY:

Throughout the sketching process I placed an emphasis on educational symbols to relate to the idea of learning, but the ideation process lead to a visual metaphor that created an interesting result.






OUTCOMES:

Our stakeholders gravitated favorably to the parrot head for the final logo. Parrots exhibit an extraordinary ability to learn things, and we want that to convey that aspect of learning about the product in a friendly and approachable manner.
